THE OPPORTUNITY: Sales Development Team Leader

We are looking for a talented Sales Development Manager that will oversee and develop our team of entry level Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). This individual will be a player/coach and fearless leader that takes our SDR team to the next level, driving inbound and outbound qualified leads for our Sales team to achieve aggressive goas. The ideal candidate will be comfortable mentoring junior team members and contributing to the fun, challenging, high performance culture we’re building at NuORDER.

This is a critical role for NuORDER and an amazing opportunity for the B2B technology SDR or Sales Manager who wants to expand to the next stage of their career.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the SDR team to desired outcomes by creating new pipeline for the Sales Team
  • Hire, onboard, train and coach a global team of Inbound and Outbound Sales Development Representatives.
  • Motivate, encourage and support the team to drive cultures of ownership, collaboration and success
  • Define, implement and track key performance metrics for the team.  Compile weekly/monthly reports to management
  • Run the team day-to-day, ensuring each rep is following their plans and meeting expected performance metrics.
  • Source, build and maintain prospect lists for targeting by the SDR team
  • Provide live and offline coaching to the team through individual and group settings to optimize performance
  • Serve as the bridge between the SDRs and Sales Reps, ensuring tight alignment between the two teams and the smooth handoff and follow-through on Marketing-sourced leads
  • Minimize friction for SDRs through optimization of process, technology/tools and data.
  • Manage all prospecting related tools and technologies including SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIN Sales Navigator, etc.

 

Required Skills / Experience

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Sales Development Representative in a B2B technology or SaaS company or 2-3 Sales Management Experience
  • Proven track record as an individual sales performance (either as an SDR or Enterprise Rep)
  • Proven track record at establishing and achieving or exceeding measurable goals in a highly-automated Sales Development environment
  • Growth hacker who knows how to generate demand using current best practices
  • Experience with outbound prospecting and prospecting tools such as SalesLoft, Tout, Yesware or Outreach.io
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com data management, reports, lists and campaigns
  • Analytical-oriented numbers geek who can make smart optimization decisions informed by data
  • Ability to train, mentor and coach young talent
